Hi everyone,
Are you interested in autonomous driving and AI? I'm offering a Master Thesis position at the Institute of Measurement and Control Systems (MRT) focusing on a fascinating challenge: Explainable End-to-End Autonomous Driving.
In simple terms, we want to inspect why end-to-end autonomous driving models make certain decisions in planning their path. This is a really important area with lots of open questions!
What you'll be doing: - Diving into current end-to-end driving models and explainable AI techniques. - Training and testing a cutting-edge driving model. - Developing cool new ways to explain how the model's planning works. - Evaluating how good your explanations are, and maybe even using them to improve driving performance!
We're looking for someone who has: - A good grasp of deep learning. - Some hands-on experience with deep learning models (Python, PyTorch, MMCV would be great!). - A real passion for autonomous driving and AI. - Motivation to work independently and good English skills.
What we offer: - Close supervision and support from experienced researchers. - Access to the GPU resources you'll need. - A chance to co-author a paper targeting a top AI conference like ECCV and NeurIPS!

If this sounds like a great fit for your Master Thesis, I'd love to hear from you!
Please send me an email with your CV, transcript of record, and (if available) coding project samples (GitHub links or a zip file are fine).
Feel free to reach out if you have any questions.
Best, Yinzhe
